What Happens during the Attorney Review Process?

Andrew T. Walsh is known for his skillful and polished legal writing, his sincere dedication to his clients, and his attention to every detail in their legal matters. As a Partner, Mr. Walsh has extensive experience in several areas of law, including Real Estate. In the following video, he goes over the importance of having an experienced attorney review the contract in the spam of time provided by the law.

Why is it important to have an attorney review your contract?

It is important to have an attorney during the attorney review process because that is a window that you have in order to make any changes to the contract to usually to protect your interest as the transaction progresses from the date that the contract is signed by all parties that start the clock running for three days.

What happens if the contract is not reviewed by an attorney?

If the contract is not revised in some way in those three days from it being fully executed then the contract stands as written. It is important to get in touch with an attorney with our firm right away to get that fully executed contract to me so that I can make the changes to the contract to protect your interests as the case may be, whether it may be as a seller or a buyer.
