What is Happening at CU&W?

• Charles J. Uliano receives “Attorney Excellence Award” from Monmouth County Bar. On April 18th, Charles J. Uliano, Esq. was the recipient of the 2024 Attorney Excellence Award for his Service to the Monmouth Bar Association.
• On April 28th, our firm’s members gathered with family and friends to establish “Matty’s Smile Squad” for a walk in support of POAC Autism Services.

Attorney-Conducted Voir Dire with Charles J. Uliano, Esq.

Although still in its infancy in NJ, attorney-conducted voir dire refers to the process in which attorneys have the opportunity to question potential jurors during jury selection. This allows attorneys to gather information about potential jurors and assess their impartiality and suitability for serving on a jury. During attorney-conducted voir dire, attorneys have the ability to ask potential jurors a series of questions to determine biases, prejudices, or other factors that may affect their ability to be fair and impartial in the case. This process plays a crucial role in ensuring a fair and impartial jury is selected to hear a criminal case…
