Jackson Resident Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Upper Freehold, NJ

State Police are currently investigating a fatal accident that occurred in Upper Freehold on the afternoon of Sunday, July 3rd, involving a collision between a motorcyclist and a vehicle.

Alfred Faragasso, a Jackson resident, was driving his motorcycle when he collided with an automobile at the intersection of Sharon Station Road and Route 524. The driver of the car, Agar Kannamangala Singra Gowda, of Trumbull, Connecticut sustained no injuries. However, Alfred Faragasso was severely injured and was airlifted to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he was later pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained. The exact details of the crash are still being investigated by State Police, but authorities did comment that when help arrived at the scene, Faragasso was pinned underneath Gowda’s car.
