The Chamlin, Uliano & Walsh Family Is Expanding!

The new rising star at Chamlin, Uliano & Walsh is an accomplished young attorney who has a personal appreciation for upholding a reputation for the highest caliber of legal representation. His name adorned the letterhead long before he’d billed his first hour. James J. Uliano (J.J.) is continuing the tradition of solid work ethic and zealous advocacy that his father, Charles J. Uliano, has developed at the law firm over the last 29 years.

Both father and son earned their juris doctorate at Seton Hall University School of Law. J.J. has learned from his experience in other law firms and his academic accomplishments, as well as his leadership and philanthropic activities, including a fundraiser to benefit a local teenager suffering from cancer. He was selected for the prestigious law clerkship to the Honorable Lawrence M. Lawson, assignment judge of the Superior Court in Monmouth County, and completed his term this past summer. In addition, James served as an intern to the Honorable Ronald J. Hedges, U.S.M.J., 3rd Circuit of the United States District Court.

It is his experience in the chambers of the Uliano household, as well as the impressive and lofty judicial chambers, that make him perfectly suited to join the C.R.U.W. family. While J.J. was growing up, his dad, as former assistant Monmouth County prosecutor, tried countless civil and criminal cases in both state and federal courts. He not only represented numerous government entities in defense of civil rights claims, but he also is credited with one of the largest plaintiff’s awards in Monmouth County, procuring a settlement of more than $2.5 million. So it’s quite clear that the senior Uliano, who is distinguished as one of only 43 attorneys out of more than 81,000 in New Jersey to be certified by the Supreme Court in both civil and criminal law, is certainly a great role model.

Partner Kenneth Chamlin was the first at Chamlin, Uliano & Walsh to make such a commitment to uphold his family’s professional reputation and dedication to the law firm, under the tutelage of his father, the late George M. Chamlin. J.J. has hit the ground running, bringing his own flavor of Uliano lawyering to Monmouth and Ocean County clients. He is fearless, driven, motivated and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Chamlin, Uliano & Walsh clientele. He is a stellar example of the benefits of father-son bonding at its best!
