In preparing our newsletter, I would be remiss if I did not discuss the great loss to the people of Monmouth County with the sudden death of Judge Lisa P. Thornton, our beloved Assignment Judge. Originally appointed to the Monmouth County bench in 2008, Judge Thornton was appointed the Assignment Judge of Monmouth County in 2014. What is your favorite thing about working at CU&W?

I received my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, although this wasn’t my area of focus, I am so fascinated with learning everything about the legal side of things. I love to hear about the types of matters we have and what we are able to do to help our clients.
